Nebbiolo 62%, Merlot 23%, Dolcetto 15%
The grapes come from the hills of our vineyards around Alba. The training system used is traditional Guyot and the yields are around 59 hectolitres per hectare.
Grapes are harvested by hand at the beginning of October, then destemmed and softly crushed. The time on the skins is about 24 hours. Alcoholic fermentation takes place in controlled temperature steel tanks at 18°C. Then, the must is left to decant in controlled temperature thermo-conditioned tank at 5/8°C until bottling.
No ageing is foreseen. A vintage wine is ready for bottling between the end and the beginning of the year after the harvest
Intense pink color. On the nose it has floral hints of rose, violet and red fruits. It is fresh and savory in the mouth.
It is an everyday wine, which goes well with all the courses. Excellent for aperitif, cold appetizers and fish first courses.
