Production area and characteristics
The grapes come from a single vineyard, Sorì Lazzarito, one of the most famous in Serralunga d'Alba. Its south, south-west exposure, micro-climate, 400 metres altitude and the special composition of the terrain produce grapes of the highest quality.

Yield per hectare
45 hectolitres.

Vinification
Vinification is designed to emphasize its polyphenolic potential and structure. Alcoholic fermentation takes place at 30°C in stainless steel tanks, with about 30 days maceration.

Ageing
In French oak barriques of various age for 24 month. Ageing is essential for a wine of this structure to create a union between the noble tannins of the wine and the wood.

Sensory properties
Ruby red with garnet tints. Deep and intense, the bouquet is striking for its modern interpretation: tobacco, vanilla, leather and pepper. The structure is dense on the palate; velvety, with a soft, persistent finish.

Accompaniment
Robust red meat dishes. Ripe cheeses.

Serving temperature
18-20 C°. We recommend uncorking the bottle an hour before serving.
